Greetings in The name Of Jesus Christ! (:

We are so thankful that you would take the time to read our blog.

Its like you are here with us, and i pray that our blog over time would inspire you and bless you just as the Lord continues to bless us.

We finally arrived at my Aunt Peggy's house in Huntsville, AL

We had such a fun time with my aunts, uncle and my dad! We played games and laughed a whole lot. The next day Patrick and I got the opportunity to speak and Aunt Peg's church about our trip to Turkey. It was so wonderful to share our hearts with other loving people. We were so encouraged by the people and we were also bless financially! After church my cousin Bryan, his wife Lisa and Wendy and her two kiddos came and we had such a blast! Patrick rode with uncle Roger on his motorcycle and now Patrick is in love with riding and he wants a motorcycle badly! haha! I was so nice to feel the love and embrace from my family! & the sweetness of Alabama was just a comfort! (:

After Huntsville we traveled to Florence where Patrick lived for 4 years attending University of North Alabama! We visited with lots of friends and Patrick's church where the pastor and his wife totally blessed us and encouraged us! We stayed with Patrick's old roommate Micah

He is such a fun guy! It was like a reunion with everyone who came to hang out!

We met some amazing people mike and Cindy on the way home, they are friends with Patricia (Patrick's mom) & they want to support us!

After Florence Sweet home Birmingham! they are such encouraging people!

We went to my house spent some awesome time with my mom, my brother and my grandmother, aunt and cousins! We also went to our FAVORITE place ever! The boulder fields, we hiked, climbed boulders and just enjoyed the woods and the beauty of nature. We visited with our bother Evan and we had church at his house with a group of people, we had such a beautiful time of worship, encouragement, prayer and fellowship. After Birmingham we went back to Huntsville to see Patrick's mom!

We had a great time with her and her friend Darla. She blessed me with some long skirts for Turkey and made a yummy dinner! :) It was so nice seeing her!

We went back to Bham visited with more friends Jenn and Cynthia Abby and Nick some of my closest friends and the people of the Carpenter shop. Which is a awesome christian book store that we often spend lots of time in prayer for one another! (:

Then on Sunday we headed back to Orlando!

This past week was AMAZING! Carl our team leader taught on relationships AND WOW! it was sooooo so good! We are so thankful for him and his wife Jamie, and by the way they are expecting their baby girl Charlie in 2 weeks! (: NOT only that but as soon as we got back we found out we owns the property they have been perusing for over 4 years! Its going to be an beautiful campus, its 198 acres and set up like a camp ground! We are soo thrilled and so thankful how faithful God is! If you didn't know Our whole base over 80 staff and students trying to squeeze in a church that is too small and stunts the growth of this school, after years of praying and lots of fund raising travel, the goal was met and We now have this amazing land to build on and make this a huge campus for the nations! This Land was previously a camp ground and it has been abandoned for 4 years, so it has alot of work to be done. There has been volunteers from all over donating time, money, skills, and tools to get the job done!..

There is so much vision and dreams of all of the staff and students going in to this place.

Patrick Desires that there be a skate park on the campus where local skaters can come and have a nice place to skate and great opportunity.

I suggested maybe a homeless out reach team and a community thrift store and food bank!
so many other ideas, so much excitement and dreams! We are so blessed to be apart of what God is doing here in Orlando and from Orlando all around the world.
Keep us in your prayers.
Thanks for your prayers and your love!
Love you guys so much,
Lindsey & Patrick!
PS changes have been made to our blog spot!

we now have a pay pal! click donate and you can help us out! it goes directly to our bank account!
Praise God !

Kingdom of God

Hey Everybody!

Thank you so much for supporting us with your prayers and many other blessings! Lindsey and I are praying about doing full time missions. We are not really sure what that will look like, so we are asking you to be praying with us!

One thing the Lord has been placing on Lindsey and my heart is the kingdom of God. What does that look like? What exactly is his kingdom? These are questions we were facing on our faith journey.

We have been realizing that one of God's eternal purpose is bringing his kingdom here to this earth. This is God's desire for his people and he also has open doors for others to come into the kingdom. We have been catching God's heart and plans for his people, for his bride. The kingdom of God is not of this world. Its way more beautiful, full of peace and joy. It is fullfilling to the deepest core desire of a man's heart. God's kingdom looks like communitry, a place to share the life of Jesus Christ with one another. To submit to each other out of reverence for Christ. To be a servant and willing to help a brother out through acts of kindness, encouragement, and labor. By being there at all times considering the circumstances. It is a kingdom under the headship of Jesus Christ, where you and I were bought with a price by the blood of Jesus Christ by his one time sacrifice on the cross. The kingdom of God is a place of drawing the people of God together to live the life as a body working together as one. When this kingdom is spread, people are set free from the systems of this world. It is a beautiful kingdom!

These are a few things the lord has had on our hearts.

Blessings in the name of Jesus!

God is truly AWESOME!

Hey everyone!

it's another beautiful day here in Orlando! We had class this morning and it was sooo rich. Al taught on the difference between a legal relationship with God than a intimate relationship.. How do we respond to God? Based on rewards and punishments? Do you base Christianity only on the reward heaven or the punishment of hell? These ways are not necessarily wrong, but i believe its a little more deep than just rewards or punishments.. and i don't think its just about heaven or hell..

God desires intimacy in a relationship, not a relationship based on fear.

That's just 1% of what we are learning about this week's teaching (The character and nature of God)

Its been great so far!

OH by the way today I reached in my jacket pocket and found 25$!!!!!

I have still no clue who gave us the $300 and now $25 more! haha God is truely awesome! He is so faithful to provide he is just simply good.

I also forgot to tell you about our friend Walter!...

about 3 weeks ago as we walked around lake
Eola, downtown Orlando.. as we strolled along I noticed the squirrels would come to you on command, just like a dog! hahaha as i bent down to touch the squirrel's little head a man walked up to us and said "they think you have bread." I stood to see a kind face of a man, it was obvious that he was homeless. See him with his backpack and sweat soaked shirt, skin browned from the sun, he smiled humbly. I said "Hi".. my name is Lindsey and this is my husband Patrick, with my hand out, he timidly took a hold of it and said hey, I'm Walter..

We chatted a while talking about the friendly squirrels and life here in Orlando, we asked where he was from, and he told us his story of how he was from Bradington Florida and he lost his job and got his car towed and it was hard for him to get a job.. so he hikes around to different places looking for work, he has a tent, and camps out at a camp ground and lives off the land. He kept our attention with his stories of traveling.. He usually waits around the lake because different churches feed the homeless and he had missed them by 20 minuets! So we offered to buy him a sandwich and a drink.. and he took up the offer! we chilled with Walter for a while. As he drank his gator aid and told us more about his life.. after a while he had to get back to his resting place, because it took about two hours for him to hike there he wanted to make it back before dark. Walter, i asked may we pray for you to get a job?

He said Yes! please. As we placed our hands on Walter's back he took off his hat. I asked God to provide a job for Walter and bless him along the way. We got Walter's number and said our goodbyes. Around two weeks later we went to the farmer's market to see the different arts and crafts they had for sale, on our way to our car we passed the place we met Walter, i said out loud to Patrick, i wonder how Walter is..... i wonder if he got a job.. wouldn't that be awesome! Patrick smiled and agreed! yes it would. As we went to look over the bank of the lake not even a minuet later Walter walked right in front of us. WALTER! wow we were just talking about you i said excitedly!! With a hug he said "the devil has been after me today because i went to church.. " he explained how on his way to church the bus took him to the opposite side of town than where his church was, and he missed breakfast.. with a cookie in hand he said "i got me some cookies though." (haha) Then we asked did you get a job? He looked at us and said yes i did! a job remodeling a house in Bradington, Fl! its a 3 month job, so that's good. He received an email from a friend telling him about the job and he explained to the man, that he didn't have any tools, the man replied just bring your skills i have the tools! I began to praise God! We didn't get to see Walter before he left. He left yesterday morning, a church provided bus fares for him! This story blessed me so much so i thought i would share IT WITH YOU! here is our pic of us! Thanks for reading!

Love you guys!

Otterson Fees - love Jesus

Good day to ya! Its another hot day here in Orlando! We have one month until outreach and we are being prepared for everything to come. Our Teacher this week is awesome! His name is Al very intresting man, he knows the word pretty intensely! During our time we get to enjoy a different teacher each week, and this week Al is teaching about God and his nature. Last week Mary and she taught us and wow our team really love her. She taught on "The 7 mighty nations." Basically the journey from Egypt to the promise land and how this amazing story from Deuteronomy applies to us today! Very enlightening! As we approach the end of our training we realize what a huge work God has done in Patrick and I. We enjoy the tightnit community we experience here! its awesome. ANYWAYS back to what happened today!! so right before class began, Patrick found an envelope tucked away in his notebook, he looked at me puzzled, as he held it closer to me. I realized it was a bank envelope, with small neatly written words "otterson fees Love Jesus" Patrick quickly opened the envelope to find $300 WOW! I had just thanked God this morning for provision for our trip! (: We felt so much love and excitement. We looked around trying to figure out who might have slipped this into Patrick's note book, but we still have no clue. Patrick said he was just randomly looking through his note book and dicovered the mystery money, he was wondering how long it might have been there... Who knows! Maybe God put it there himself! Thanks be to God! haha!

we Love u guys! thanks for reading today!

Faith

Hey Everybody! This is an update to keep you informed what is going on in our world. We have been so busy planning for our wedding and raising funds Patrick, with college and Lindsey with a full time job..This Saturday Patrick is graduating with a bachelors in public relations at UNA. I resigned from my job at the doctors office, I felt the Lord telling me to stretch my faith and believe he will provide.. it began getting very stressful trying to balance everything. We both Patrick and I having a very pressing season, we know now the joy of the Lord and the path he has set before us is very clear. We feel such peace now that the pressure is off or us.. The Lord is leading us in to such freedom. We know we are call to full time traveling, helping others, loving the unloved and just growing together. We will go for three months of training with other travelers and for the last three months we will be traveling abroad, we do not know the exact location, we will pray as a group and see where the Lord needs us. Patrick and I have been praying for God's will for our lives and he truly grants the desires of his children's hearts! Our dreams are unfolding before our eyes and the beautiful thing about it is its not just Patrick and Lindsey's dreams its God's dream for Patrick and Lindsey! We have faith that he will fully provide, we do not know how or when but we know he is a faithful father and he is always on time. We are planning a yard sale next weekend to help raise funds for our training, if you have any donations you would like to give to sale at our yard sale please contact us! We also would like your agreement in prayer, please pray for God's provision and continue to pray the God will use us in a mighty way! Thank you so much for taking the time to read our blog and support us! our support letters are going out asap!

We love and thank you!

May the Lord bless you and keep you and shine his glorious face upon you and give you peace!
